Fall fishing is here!!! The big bait freeline bite is going strong. We are not catching big numbers of fish but the quality makes up for it. Now is the time to catch a trophy striper. Most of the fish are coming of flats and points in 2-7ft of water. [...]

3-22-11 Lake Lanier Fishing Report
March 22nd, 2011 by jeffblairWater temps are in the high 50s and the striper fishing has been getting better every day. We have been catching most our fish on freelined bluebacks and little gizzard shad in the backs of the northern creeks. As the water temp rises these fish will start wanting a bigger shad or trout.
