Current Lake Lanier Fishing Report – Fishing report from July 8th, 2013

I’m sorry for not having a updated report on here. Have been on the water just about everyday since my last report and keeping my facebook page updated daily. A lot of things have changed. We are just now kicking off our awesome summertime down rod bite. Water temps are in the low 80’s. Most of our fish are heading south and out in deep water which means big schools and big number days. Still a good bite right now up on 40-50ft bottoms but that should change pretty quick. For the trollers the leadcore bite should be happening here soon too. Like I have said in the previous years reports this is the time of year to get the wife and kids out. Normally faster pace fishing with plenty of fish coming in the boat.
