Lake Lanier Fishing Report – October 1st 2012

Current Lake Lanier Fishing Report – Fishing report from October 1st, 2012

Since my last fishing report the striper fishing on Lake Lanier remains good. There has only been a few off days. Most days the fishing has been great. We are still catching most of our stripers on down lined blueback herring on the south end of the lake in deep water. Thats not going to last long. A lot of things are going to change this month. Topwater should get going any day now. More of our stripers are going to be heading up the lake to the northern creeks for the winter. The night time Bomber bite will be getting good. The best way to be productive is to get out on the water as much as possible and adapt to what the fish are doing that day. The more you are out the easier it is to set up a pattern. Good luck to everybody and hope to see you out there!!
