Current Lake Lanier Fishing Report – Fishing report from March 21st, 2013

Sorry for the delay in my fishing reports. I have been busy doing mostly crappie trips and now rocking and rolling on the stripers. We had an excellent year with the crappie. Same pattern as always. Fishing deep water docks with small 1/32oz jigs. There is still some hanging on the docks but a lot of them have pulled up shallow in the backs of the creeks getting ready to spawn. Striper fishing has been great this week. Most of the stripers are in the backs of the creeks and can be caught free lining blueback herring and/or gizzard shad. Tuesday we boated 15 stripers ranging from 12-20lbs and lost quite a few more. That is an awesome day for March. Hopefully this cold front we are having right now won’t shut them down. Will be back at it in the morning and try to keep the reports up. Like always thank you to all the people that has booked my boat!!
