Lake Lanier Fishing Report (2-22-2012)

Lake Lanier Fishing Guides. Fishing report from Feb 22nd, 2012

Striper fishing is still up and down. The night bite is going pretty good. Throwing bombers and jerkbaits on shallow flats and points. During the day you can pull baits 5-6 hours for a couple bites. Those couple bites have been quality fish for the most part.
I have been sticking to crappie fishing the past few weeks. They are ganged up in big schools under deep water docks staging before they spawn. Now is the time to go fill up your freezer. Our crappie bite doesn’t get any better than this. 1/32oz jigs fished real slow is the best producer.
