9-27-10 Lake Lanier Fishing Report

Written by jeffblair on September 27, 2010

Striper fishing has been great the past couple weeks. The patterns are changing every day for me. One day is a leadcore bite in the channel over 100 plus feet of water and the next day is a downrod bite over a 40-50ft bottom. The past few days we have seen more and more fish coming to the surface so keep a topwater plug handy with a spook or redfin. Bottom line is don’t get stuck on doing one thing. Make sure you have all your gear with you and let the fish tell you what they want that day and you should have a successful trip.
