9-14-10 Lake Lanier Fishing Report

Written by jeffblair on September 14, 2010

Fishing continues to be good. There are alot of fish showing up out in the river channel. The past couple weeks I have had to pull out the leadcore quite a bit to catch fish. If you can find a group of fish that will stay around downrods will work great but if they are on the move or you are only marking scatered fish you can’t beat a 1oz Capt. Macks bucktail with a chartruse curlytail trailer fished 8 1/2 to 9 colors out. The summer boat traffic should start dieing down and with the cooler nights the topwater bite is around the corner.
