7-25-10 Lake Lanier Fishing Report

Written by jeffblair on July 25, 2010

Striper fishing has been on fire most of the month. The past couple weeks the afternoon deep channel bite has taken off. We are catching good numbers of 8-18 pound fish out over 100-130ft of water on downrod herring. In the mornings most of the fish are being caught in 45-80ft of water fishing 30-40ft down. If you are seeing a lot of fish on your graph and they are not biting try power reeling a bucktail tipped with a herring or just use your downrod. Good luck to everyone that gets out.
