Lake Lanier Fishing Report – July 22nd 2011

Lake Lanier Fishing Guides. Fishing report from July 22nd 2011

Sorry for the delay in fishing reports but have been really busy this month. Striper fishing is about as good as it gets right now. Mainly catching all our fish on downlined herring 40-80 ft down over a 90-140ft bottom in the river channel on the southend. Some guys have been getting them good on leadcore fishing 9 colors out at 3mph with a 1oz bucktail tipped with a paddletail trailer. The past couple weeks the afternoon bite has been off the charts. Catching good numbers of fish and a lot of quality ones too. Now is the time to get the kids out before they go back to school.
