[This past week the downrod bite has taken off. Water temps are pushing 80 degrees. The fish are schooling up on 20-30ft points. We are fishing downrod herring 15-20ft down. Make sure you bring plenty of bait. The spots are mixed in with these stripers and are killing alot of bait. The topwater redfin bite should be on right now but are only catching a few on them.
