3-8-10-fishingSpringtime is finally here. Earlier in the week we got on a good bomber bite at night which means fishing is about to be on fire. We found water temps up to 60 degrees in the back of some southend creeks. Most fish were caught up on the bank in less than 5ft of water. We did catch a 22 pounder with a plug over in 65ft of water.
Today we fished the northend and the warmest water was 52 degrees which is what we having been waiting on the past couple weeks so we can start pulling big baits. The fish were up on the points and flats feeding really good. We pulled shad 8-16″ long on boards and freelines. We had them chasing the big baits but all the fish we caught were on the 8-9″ shad. Now is the time to go put that trophy in the boat.
