2-5-2010 Lake Lanier Fishing Report
Written by jeffblair on February 8, 2010
Fishing has been really tough this past month due to extremly cold weather and lots of rain. Most of the fish that has been caught were on u-rigs 75-100ft back on a 25-40ft bottom (mainly points and humps off the main river channel or in the mouths of the creeks). We have caught some on threadfins, herring, gizzards and trout both on freelines and downrods but they seemed to have not keyed in on one certain bait. As the water temp gets a little warmer the bite should pick up.
