12-20-09 Lake Lanier Fishing Report

Written by jeffblair on December 20, 2009

Fishing has been great all week. We have been catching good numbers of 5-15 pound fish on the northend in the backs of the creeks. Downrods, freelines and u-rigs are all producing at different times. Freelines have been better in the morning pulled out over the creek channel in 30-60ft of water. Earlier in the week the 3″ swimbaits on a u-rig were on fire but today 3/4oz white bucktails with chartruse trailers pulled 110ft was the ticket. Hope everybody has a Merry Christmas and catch a lot of fish over the holidays.
