Lake Lanier Fishing Guides Report – November 30th 2011

Lake Lanier Fishing Guide. Fishing report from November 30th 2011

Fishing continues to be good for the most part. Some of these cold fronts and high wind days have shut them down for me. Other than that it has been pretty consistant. I’m still catching my fish on the northend freelining shad and trout in 2-15ft of water on points and flats off the river channel and in the northern creeks. Have had a little topwater action but not enough to chase around with plugs. I have heard good reports of topwater action and a good downrod bite on the southend. If these fish follow the same pattern as last year you need to start getting the u rigs ready. Mid December last year they started holding on brushpiles on 20-25ft points. It was hard to get them to eat live bait but would hit a rig about everytime you went through them. Maybe that will not happen this year seeing they are predicting a much warmer December. Happy late Thanksgiving to everyone!!!
